On this date, four years ago, the constant readers of an obscure gamer blog set forth to create a Halo 2 Clan. They were KaTet. They were one from many. They dealt in lead. While that much was for sure, the rest was uncertain…

Since then, Tied the Leader has grown to become much more than one gamer’s opinion. The Gunslingers have built for themselves a fort in the wilderness of Xbox Live, where many a gamer has found a good game. They are the hosts of an affiliation that unites similar bands of gamers that keep it clean. They are the stewards of a charitable endeavor that still benefits the real troopers. They still deal in lead.
This is Tied the Leader. And we are four years old. Our birthday is not the inception of this column. That’s would be a lonely celebreation – for a party of one. Our gunniversary is the product of a clan that set out to make the world safe for the good game.

With four years under our gunbelts, we show no signs of slowing our charge into the virtual warzones of Xbox Live. We finished the fight. We dropped. We even sent raiding parties into a world at war. Our guns will be ready for the next evolutions, whenever they may fall.
Happy Gunniversary. Onward into Year Five.
