Since its inception, the mission at Tied the Leader has been to unite gamers who seek out a common experience in online multiplayer gaming. Over time, that mission resulted in the raising of an army. And, what is an army without alliances?

The Good Game Network is not about any one clan. It’s a hub in the fan-driven clan system. In Halo 2, those social systems were hard-coded into the offering. In Halo 3, we took the lessons we learned and we maintain the tools for ourselves.
Time and time again, it has been said that the element of the online gaming experience that contributes most to replayability is community.
The Good Game Network is a union of those communities. It’s where the Praetorians trade war stories with the Junkies. It’s where Buddy System Gaming found their first handful of recruits willing to plant a new flag in Halo Nation soil. It’s where Saved By Grace seeks challengers. It’s where 8 Bit Brigade swaps notes on fundraising with Gaming 4 Others. It’s where Geezers and Outcasts trade war stories with Cinder or Fallen Unity.
In all, the Overlords from almost a dozen clans represent themselves as delegates from their respective communities. The goal is simple and common. We all seek the structure that brings gamers together so that they may enrich one another’s pastime.

To commemorate the launch of this consortium, 8 affiliated clans sent one ambassador to participate in a challenge against a full team assembled from another affiliated clan. The match-up was dubbed The Overlord Challenge. The scores are archived, as always, in the halls of statistical analysis on Bungie.net.
The result goes well beyond the score. After all, a bunch of Overlords talking on a forum is just another gesture of cyber-elitism. 8 gamers who choose to fight alongside each other, having fought against each other? That’s an alliance.
Are you in a clan, reader? Do you play your favorite game with a team of willing co-conspirators? Tied the Leader exists as a constant invitation to that party. In MidWorld, that invitation is answered by numerous communities that just might have you on their side of the line between red and blue.
The recruitment march at Tied the Leader continues. We seek not to induct new people into our clan. Our aim, in conjunction with all of our community allies, is to bring every worthy gamer into the fold that will keep them enthused about the game.

And what a better way to spread the Good Game ideals than in-game. This initiative has been one of TTL“s best in my opinion. i say thank ya
Great games, I look forward to the next clan we challenge so we can get to know them.
The whole idea behind the GGN fosters growth and the sharing of experiences throughout our collective community, and the PG completely embraces that.
Also, Deej drives like a grandma. :p
Agreed, I can’t wait to spread some GGN goodness, and meet peeps who just want to have good clean fun.
“That and someone has to make the others look good in the challenges” =P J/P
Thanks TTL for letting us be part of this initiative. It has been an enriching and enlightening experience.
Also, Deej does drive like a grandma. And he likes to run people over. On his own team….
