D0126 T1318 Y2007DMH Archive: 374 Questions

What the hell is a DMH? It stands for Dead Man’s Hand, and it is where this blogger used to get his writing kicks before packing up shop and hopping over to this blog.

Perhaps you never knew that the 22 Questions that go up each Friday here were actually a brain child of mine for a blog I wanted to make. The problem was maintaining my own blog. Well soon after a collaboration of TTL Gunslingers with the same blog problems decided to grab a name, grab a site, and bang some keys to assemble words, and do it together. Thus the Dead Man’s Hand Blog was born. An early iteration of this blog was hosted by Blogger. Before committing suicide from all the trouble from the bugs that are in Blogger, AirExplosive and I began work on a new build for the site. A month or so later the appropriately named DeadMansHandBlog.com was the new home for our rants. We had a good run, but near the end of this past summer a merger happened which folded DMH in with the TTL blog. It seemed only appropriate since the TTL community was the subject behind nearly all of our posts, and where we got all of our inspiration from. When I moved here, I brought along the 22 Questions with me, whipped up a new graphic for them and continued as I had been, just with the witticisms of the one and only XerxdeeJ. It has been a joy working with him on this blog for the past 6 months. As I regurgitate questions each week, he gets to propagate his words as well. It is a good balance.

Recently I went through and archived ALL the previous 22 Questions from the various other sites and stored them here for your pleasure. If you would like to pass some time, or gander into the past, then feel free to check out the interviews of the following people.

The aim for these interviews has always been to bring you, the reader, fresh content each week that lets you find out a little more about the people around you in the gaming community. Sometimes it is a developer, sometimes a fellow blogger, and other times it is a clan leader. I have been lucky enough to be able to chat with some great people, which I look up to a lot. As more interviews come in, there will always be a fresh face for you all to learn about. Enjoy.

Without us, the Halo World would be at work. Or gaming.
