Well who better to kick start our blog and interviews than the noble XerxdeeJ. For those of you who know him, or know of him, you know that he is the writer of the awesome blog, Tied the Leader. Recently Tied the Leader has been the ‘face that launched a thousand invites’. All the writers here and the members of the clan owe a hell of a lot to our leader. We found direction and great team mates with his blog. We say thankya. Now, without further delay, here are his answers to our questions.

- Pet Peeve: Chewing Gum – anything to do with it: finding it on my shoe, listening to it being chewed, seeing it on the sidewalk, the appearance of someone nashing on it like raspberry flavored cud.
- Your Best Moment of Triumph: Performing a fight minute long swordfight in a play. Packed house. My character gets disarmed. I go for the table cloth as a diversionary tactic, ripping it from a table. The fruitbowl remains standing. The crowd [hundreds of ‘em] goes wild!
- Game That Was the Biggest Let Down: Enter the Matrix. Too many projects at once for those kids. Much potential. Silly product.
- Closest You Have Come to Death: [I am so going to catch hell for this from the Roadkill Squadron] Totalling my dad’s Buick Regal in a head-on collision with a telephone pole – delivering pizza. I slid down a hill in the rain, left the road, smacked the poll. My head hit the windshield.
- What Are You Better at Than Anyone You Know: Downhill Skiing. This is an easy boast in Chicago. I do not know anyone in Denver, for instance.
- Little Known Fact: I am a pathetic mess around spiders.
- Ideal Business: A bar where gamers rule and spectators pay the bills.
- First Game That Had You Hooked: Define “hooked”. Space Invader ate a lot of childhood hours. It wasn’t until Descent that my imagination was really engaged.
- ObiWan or Gandalf: ObiWan.
- Celebrity Crush: Nicole Kidman – secret fling with Natalie Portman on the side.
- Who Is On Your Celebrity Plane Crash: Gwyneth Paltrow, Colin Farrel, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Holly Hunter, Paris Hilton, and the cast of Desperate Housewives [minus Felicity Huffman because I don’t want William H. Macy to be sad].
- Supernatural Power of Choice: Compulsion. One touch, and you are psychicly bound to do my bidding!
- Most Expensive Thing You Ever Stole: My wife’s heart. And Photoshop.
- Favorite Arcade Game: 6 Pod Linked Virtua Racing
- Last Gadget Purchased: Xbox 360! Finally, and without a camping trip.
- Favorite Holiday: Every Day is Halloween.
- Current Trend You Least Understand: Lost. And facial piercings.
- Simon or Garfunkel: Kill ‘em all. That’s what I call the sound of silence!
- Historical Figure You Would Reanimate: We could use another New Deal right about now.
