We would like to introduce to you a company of gamers. The members and the staff of this enterprise met in what has been called Cyberspace. More specifically, they likely met in a place like Lockout or Zanzibar, or some other hotly contested corner of the Halo Nation.
Just like you, they like to play war.
Playing war is fun. We all like to play war. Don’t we? It is doubtful that you, Constant Reader, come to TTL in search of fruitcake recipes. This site has been home to a number of battles, both friendly and flame-ridden. The mission has always been the same. We are all in search of a good game.
But a game war is not. Not really. There are members of the Tied the Leader community who know what war is like. The rest of us invest a lot of passion in celebrating the characters and legends that grow out of the legacy of the soldier. To them, we tip our hat.
This is our personal project. This announcement is not a sales pitch, as much as it is a window into our clubhouse. The TTL Gunslingers are not the first cadre of gamers to take up a cause. 2old2play has staged LANs to throw the weight of their community into the battle against cancer. The Cavegirls also showed us a way to make the world a better place by Fighting Like a Girl. Even Bungie Fought the Flood. With the TTL Foundation, we throw our hat into the ring.
Our aim is not to take a political stance, and our goal is not to exploit. Our only mission is to give back to the people who defend a world in which some of us possess the luxury to play at war. It’s easy to line up behind an agenda to support the troops. Some people put a magnet on their bumper. We would rather put a shirt on your back or invite you to a party.
Anytime TTL encounters the messy business of cash-flow, the Foundation will benefit. The commercialization of the TTL brand will enable gamers to express themselves in ways that have a positive impact on both the digital conflict and the real. Watch this space for tournaments, live events, and exciting merchandise solutions.
So said. So begun. Say Thankya.

Welcome to the next stage of TTL everyone. I am proud to call myself a Gunslinger and a part of this community.
Good be our game, noble be our cause. I know I am going to get lots of TTL swag at that store.
I too am proud to call myself a Gunslinger. This is an awesome endeavor, I hope great things for the TTL Foundation.
When this plan was announced a few short months ago, I said to myself, “Wow!”. Again, I find myself in awe of this community that I am a part of. The future is bright here at TTL, and I am so proud to be a part of it. Here’s to the TTL Foundation, Store, and more great things to come in the future!
Here’s to raising money for a good cause.
Big thanks to the dedicated members of the community – internal and external – who make TTL possible. It’s an exciting new phase of our community’s growth.
I, too, am proud to be a member of not only a fair-play good attitude clan, but a group of people who actually care about doing their part in the world. My hat is always tipped, and these boys and girls deserve it.
All the new stuff looks great guys… very well done!
Way to go guys!
Can’t wait to get Hempachu and myself into some TTL gear.
Good Job on the Good Game.
