Exactly one month ago, ‘Tied the Leader’ celebrated the One Year Gunniversary of our Official Halo 2 Clan. As a component of that announcement, we issued a dare to the Halo Community:
Kill a Gunslinger, Earn a Buck!
Did we mean it? You bet. Did we think anyone would actually come to collect? No way. Overall, we thought this was a fun excuse for listing the gamertags of all the fine people that one year of gaming and community development had brought into our ranks. Finding one gamer [or even 100 gamers] amidst the high-traffic war-zone of Halo 2 Matchmaking can be harder than earning the same dollar bill twice in your life. When the gamers in question are TTL Gunslingers, finding them is one thing – winning against them is another.
Try telling that to Night Rider 7, venerable Overlord of the Winged Warriors Halo 2 Clan. He won’t listen. He is too busy enjoying the spoils of victory. Mr. Rider [as it seems appropriate to call him at the moment] took down a full squad of Gunslingers off the tide-swept beaches of Zanzibar. Here is the proof, courtesy of the Halo 2 Junkies.
Night Rider 7 brought his game true. He carried the day. Then, he paid us a visit in MidWorld to collect.
T’was a Good Game. For this we say thankya, and we honor our debts. You have to admire this gamer for his commitment to his craft and his interest in community.
Anyone else think they can knock us off our high-horse? Mind you, the statute of limitations for this wager do not extend to cover Gears of War. This is a Halo bet. Bought and paid for in Gunslinger Bucks.
Know this: The Halo Community remains packed with eager souls who seek the property that you would defend within the halls of your base. The game is not over yet, friends. Not by a long shot.

Night Rider has been defeating us for months now. He if got a Gunslinger buck every time that happened, he could play Halo professionally.
But he always does it with a smile, and for that. Congrats Night Rider.

Wasnt it a Clanniversary? Oh well, I like Gunniversary better. I suppose its good more people didnt come to collect. We wouldnt want our exchange rate to decline.
Its nice to see Wayn0ka and XerxdeeJ are still part of this amazing clan. Is it true you have to have a 360 to make a new XBox live account? if so then dam someone needs to dante to the “Help iZen” fund to get a 360 so i can make an XBL account. its been over a year now.
