halo.bungie.org broke this story. Their forum is home to hundreds of fan-produced videos. One in particular stood apart from its counterparts.
Watch this montage. No one should miss it.
The editing almost outmatches the gameplay. Almost.

Regarding the montage: that sonofagun ain’t doing too much perching/camping/hiding. Heck, he’s jouncing around with the best of ‘em. While his aim is tits, I was more impressed with the homing device on those stickies. Ouch! I’m always trying to do that – but I always end up hitting the door jam right in front of me and blowing my own head off while I fumble with my weapons in a starled panic.
How does what Pachango said qualify as ‘A lot of crap’?

All the montages I seem to see are dominated purely by sniping. While its fun to watch I hunger for more. Specifically I want a vehicle montage. You could call it the “Jack n’ Splat” montage. Yeah thats right, I said it. Anyway all the stupidness aside I think it would make a very fun montage. Oh, and if you know of any please point them my way. Thanks.

Cool video, it inspired me to practice my stickies. I think that would be a good custom gametype, loads of ghosts and warthogs and everyone has stickies… hmmm…
I’ve got a cutom gametype called sticky. It works best on midship, but can be used on any small – medium map.
Last night I was playing team slayer br on Burial Mounds. I got my first 10 kills with the ghost and then another 6 with the noob combo. In the lobby following the game I had one of the other team tell me how much I suck because that’s how I got all my kills.

He’s drag sniping. This method exploits the game engine assist. If you bullet is close to the mark, the assist pulls the trajectory toward the intended target.
A sweep sniper exploits this by zooming in to 5X (or no scoping) and dragging the reticule horizontally across the target. The auto assist then takes over and awards a head shot.
Though this does take skill (I can’t do it) I think its kind of a cheap way to win.
The sticks on the other hand were pretty cool.
(ps: the same can be done with the battle rifle)
